Since August 1999, ArquiPeru has been a free space provided by Geocities.com web site(http://www.geocities.com./Eureka/Boardroom/6745/ArquiPeru_Home.html) offered to Peruvian architects and students of architecture who were looking for architectural information in cyberspace but didn´t find any page generated from Peru. At the same time an english version was offered to foreigners interesed in Peruvian architecture, ancient and modern, because there was not an architectural site about Peru.

After six months of hard work and updates, ArquiPeru is visited by thousands of "archinauts" from more than 50 countries and is registered in more than 35 of the best search engines in Spanish and English, and in famous international architecture web sites, also representing the whole South America in many of them.

Following this success, ArquiPeru members decided to change the site´s image transforming it into a professional "Portal", not just giving information and links to best architectural sites worlwide, but offering new services for professionals in architecture, engineering, construction and decoration, using the newest digital technologies. The new site is open for everybody interesed in the fascinating architecture world and for those looking for professionals, services and products.

ArquiPeru is taking now the first step in Internet as an independent web site (http://www.arquiperu.com) and will grow day by day according to visitors requirements.

ArquiPeru was created by members of  "Artadi / Solis Associated Architects" office, to offer information service to colleagues. Members are Architect ALBERTO ARTADI LOAYZA (CAP 4412) and Architect JORGE SOLIS ROBLES (CAP 4097), currently "on line" coordinator from Canada.

Both professionals have wide experience in developing projects, especially in corporative identity and interior architecture.

After some time, Architect PABLO BARRIENTOS JAEN (CAP 4685) joined ArquiPeru team, helping to develope the site´s new professional version, sharing his important experience in digital technologies.
